After being linked with a move to Roma, Norwegian striker Jorgen Strand Larsen is reportedly close to joining the Premier League instead.

The Celta Vigo forward was rumored to be a concrete target for Roma who supposedly had launched talks for him with his entourage.

Strand Larsen, however, has now been approached by Wolverhampton.

The English club have made the most convincing offer for him, submitting a 30 million euros bid.

According to Fabrizio Romano there is a verbal agreement in place between Celta and Wolves.

Romano reports that Wolves are in contact with the Norwegian’s agents to iron out the contractual details and complete the deal in the coming hours.
