Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso expressed his side’s determination to beat Roma in the upcoming return leg and advance to the EL final.
In his post-match reaction following Bayer’s 1-1 draw with Stuttgart, Alonso addressed the highly anticipated match on Thursday night.
“We want to secure sixth place in the league, but first and foremost we want to achieve a great objective on Thursday,” Xabi Alonso told reporters.
“We want the Europa League final,” he added.
