Xabi Alonso has denied the recent rumours that brought him closer to the Roma bench, informs Corriere dello Sport.

The current Bayer Leverkusen reaffirmed his engagement with his current team and rejected the possibility of a move to the Italian capital.

The previous news about an alleged interest of Roma for the coach as Mourinho’s long-term replacement was denied by the same Spanish coach. Alonso is reportedly not planning to leave Bundesliga anytime soon.
