Yankuba Minteh is still a target for both Roma and Everton who will soon share the same owner in Dan Friedkin.

In fact, the American businessman is a step away from completing the acquisition of Everton Football Club and adding it to his portfolio which already includes the likes of Roma and Cannes.

This could be an important step in Roma and Everton’s trajectory as they already rumored to be targeting similar targets on the market.

One of the listed targets is Yankuba Minteh, the 19-year-old Newcastle United attacker who spent last season on loan at Feyenoord collecting 11 goals and 5 assists.

Both Roma and Everton are very interested in the Gambian talent and have made contact with his parent club.

The latest news, however, have put Lyon in pole position to land Minteh – the French side have reportedly formulated a €40 million offer for him.

In the meantime, Minteh has already an agreement with Everton, writes La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The player already spoke to Toffees boss Sean Dyche and the English club remain his priority.

In case of his signing, adds the newspaper, Everton could eventually loan Minteh out to Roma as they will be soon belong to the same ownership.

After all, Roma are on the hunt for fast wingers and together with the Gambian winger from Newcastle they are also following Rodrigo Riquelme of Atletico Madrid and Jeremie Boga of Nice.
