Roma end their Japan tour with a 3-3 draw against Yokohama Marinos. The Giallorossi, originally trailing 0-2, were able to get back into the game with goals from Zaniolo, Ibanez and Shomurodov.
The Uzbekistan international sealed a late minute equalizer with a tap-in off Volpato’s assist.
After the final whistle, Shomurodov shared his thoughts on the match. “I can and should be scoring more. The whole team should be scoring more for that matter. We must work harder,” he said.
“It becomes easier for us once we have acres of space in front of us. Marinos are a good team and played really well. I think the fans had a good time today.”
“I want to thank our supporters, we’re very pleased with how many fans came out to see us here.”
