Roma are linked with various profiles as the capital club continue to scout options on the free agent market for an additional defender whom Mourinho requested in the final days of the transfer window.
The main names the Giallorossi are considering are those of Dan-Axel Zagadou, Jason Denayer and Nikola Maksimovic, reports Il Messaggero.
Denayer is currently in talks with Wolverhampton and Maksimovic is evaluating the possibility of returning to Serbia to Red Star after a brief stint with Genoa.
According to several reports, Zagadou’s entourage were seen in Milan and rumored to have been in contact with Roma after their client concluded his chapter with Borussia Dortmund earlier in the summer
