Roma and Torino could reignite talks for a surprising swap deal.
The two clubs had been in touch earlier in the summer when the Giallorossi had openly requested Granata fullback Raoul Bellanova.
At the time, however, the Euro’s were on and Torino were hoping to draw rich offers.
However, the player did not feature a single minute for Luciano Spalletti’s squad and returned to Turin a few days ago without much fanfare.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that now Torino could change their mind and lower their demands for the ex-Cagliari man.
Roma, on the other hand, could reinsert Nicola Zalewski into discussions with the Granata.
The Polish international has only one year left on his contract with the capital club and is a player that Torino continue to be keen on.
The newspaper suggests that negotiations with Torino could be once again opened by inserting Zalewski as a technical counterpart.
