Roma fullback duo Nicola Zalewski and Zeki Celik featured the full 90 minutes for their respective national teams today in the final group stage round of the Nations League.

Making his sixth appearance for Poland, Zalewski started on the left side of CzesÅ‚aw Michniewicz’s 3-4-3 formation, playing the entirety of the team’s 1-0 victory over Wales. The youngster was also involved in the game’s only goal early in the second half.

Charging down the left flank, the 20 year-old picked out Robert Lewandowski just outside Wales’ penalty area before the veteran flicked it on to Karol Åšwiderski, who found the back of the net.

As for Zeki Çelik, the defender was kept on for all 90 minutes of Turkey’s 2-1 loss to the Faroe Islands even though the team had nothing to play for.

Turkey had already secured promotion to League B entering the match following their draw on Thursday versus Luxembourg.
