Galatasaray are still trying to secure Roma wide man Nicola Zalewski.

The Turkish giants are interested in signing the Polish winger on a permanent deal from the Giallorossi.

The negotiations between the two clubs came to life yesterday evening, with Galatasaray showing concrete interest in the young Polish player.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, initially it seemed that Zalewski was not inclined to consider the transfer.

However, the player would have opened a window of opportunity, asking the Istanbul club for a salary of no less than 2.5 million euros per season to accept the offer.

At the moment, Galatasaray is evaluating the player’s request.

If the negotiation with Zalewski does not materialize, the Turkish team already has a plan B ready: Luca Pellegrini, currently at Lazio.

Pellegrini could represent a valid alternative to strengthen Galatasaray’s defensive department, if Zalewski’s financial demands prove too high.
