Verona boss Paolo Zanetti was not happy with the way things went for this team this evening.
The Italian manager discussed Verona’s 1-0 loss to Roma in his post-match interview with Sky Sport.
“We conceded the goal on the only mistake we made,” said Zanetti. “It was the only blunder we made in a game that, in my opinion, was important, a game where we were in the thick of it against a high-level Roma.”
“But today we played a game with courage. Then of course it’s normal that if you leave too much space for Roma to counter you end up paying for it.”
