Nicolo Zaniolo is officially suspended for Roma’s upcoming league match against Sassuolo after receiving a straight red card from referee Abisso in Roma-Genoa.
The youngster – who reportedly kept asking the referee in an agitated tone What the f*** are you blowing the whistle for? – may face a longer suspension.
According to Il Tempo, Zaniolo’s repeated shouting at the referee even after the obtained red card could further aggravate the offense and lead the Lega Serie A to extend his suspension.
