As rumours about a potential move to Juventus continue to intensify, Nicolò Zaniolo is expected to miss Roma’s first preseason friendly with an injury.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, the 22-year-old will not take part in today’s friendly with Trastevere due to low back pain.
The attacker had participated in Roma’s preseason since day one but was ultimately ruled out for this evening.
Leonardo Spinazzola will also be out as the Italian fullback continues to train individually before joining the rest of his teammates in Portugal.
