Nicolo Zaniolo is said to be focused on the upcoming January restart of the season despite the player’s talks for a contract renewal with Roma have not progressed since September.
According to La Repubblica, Roma have yet to show concrete signs of wanting to meet the player’s contractual demands and are only expected to discuss further details with Zaniolo’s entourage after the New Year.
For now, the newspaper claims the 23-year-old is at Mourinho’s disposal and knows that a renewal with the capital club largely depends on his performances in the second half of this year’s campaign.
