Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo has announced that he’s tested positive COVID-19.
The starlet, who is currently rehabilitating from his second ruptured ACL injury, revealed on his official Instagram account that the swab he took this morning returned a positive result.
“Hi everyone, unfortunately I’ve tested positive for COVID-19 following the latest swab that I took this morning,” said Zaniolo.
”I feel fine and have no symptoms, but obviously I’ve immediately started to quarantine.”
“I hope to return to training at Trigoria as soon as possible. In the meantime, I’ll support my teammates from home.”
The youngster recently began running and training following the injury that he suffered on national team duty with Italy in September.
