Zaniolo to delay ACL operation by a few days

It was confirmed earlier today that Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo suffered a torn ACL during yesterday’s Nations League clash against the Netherlands.

The Giallorossi’s starlet was slated to go under the knife at 9AM tomorrow morning at Villa Stuart hospital, however, Sky Sport reports that Zaniolo has opted to take a few days before undergoing surgery to repair the torn knee ligament.

Zaniolo – in agreement with the club – is taking time to reflect because it is possible that he decides to undergo the operation at a different hospital with a different surgeon and not at Villa Stuart with Prof. Pier Paolo Mariani.
