After sustaining a knock to the knee in Roma’s loss to Juve on Sunday, Nicolo Zaniolo worriedly underwent a series of scans in the Italian capital to make sure the injury wasn’t serious.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho hopes to have the 22-year-old already at his disposal for the match vs Spalletti’s Napoli.
However, it is more likely that Zaniolo will fully recover for Roma’s big game against Milan on October 31st.
Zaniolo’s supervising surgeon, Dr. Fink, as well as the Friedkins reportedly intend on scheduling an appointment for a check-up at a clinic in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
The Roma owners want to make sure Zaniolo’s condition is stable and see if they can find a solution to diminish the youngster’s injuries.
