Nicolo Zaniolo is continuing his path to recovery following a torn ACL suffered in January.
Sky Sport reports that starting next week, the attacker will return to training with the group — a huge milestone for the youngster, who many believe could make a full return sometime in July.
Before he begins training with the group, though, Zaniolo will undergo a minor nasal operation this week. The procedure is expected to keep the attacker, who is suffering from turbinate hypertrophy, out for 2-3 days.
The procedure, which usually involves removing a piece of the nasal bone or soft tissue in order to promote better airflow, will help improve Zaniolo’s breathing.
