Nicolo Zaniolo has been in talks with Roma to renew his contract for the past few months. Recently, his agent, Claudio Vigorelli, shared an update regarding the negotiations with the Giallorossi in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“There is no darkness on the horizon,” Vigorelli told the newspaper. “We have an excellent relationship with Roma and with Tiago Pinto and we have agreed that we will talk about the renewal later in the season, when the management deems it appropriate.”
“Now the most important thing is to focus on the work and performances on the pitch,” he added.
“Roma gave Nicolò an important estimated pricetag for clubs from abroad: we will negotiate a new salary based on the value that the same management has communicated to the teams interested in him. Nothing more, nothing less.”
“The club’s management knows that we are always ready to sit down to negotiate. I repeat: relations with Pinto are excellent and Zaniolo is very comfortable in Rome and with the Giallorossi fans.”
