Igor Zaniolo, the father of Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo, appeared on Rete Sport this afternoon and spoke about the injury recovery of his son, who tore his ACL in mid-January.
“Nicolò’s recovery is going very well, but it’s always better to trek slowly with this type of injury,” he said. “An extra month of recovery is better than one less month”.
“Nicolò’s didn’t initially take it well that he could miss out on the Euros, but now he’s digested the possibility of having to miss out the competition”.
He continued, “Roma will make the final decision as to whether or not Nicolò goes to the Euros. Mancini has already considered the possibility of not having him available”.
