Roma starlet Nicolo Zaniolo is continuing his rehabilitation after having torn his ACL in early September.
The 21 year-old, who has torn both his right and left ACL’s this year, underwent successful surgery on his most recently damaged ACL on the 13th of September in Austria.
Zaniolo and his family opted not to have the operation performed by Villa Stuart’s Pier Paolo Mariani as they preferred to have the procedure done abroad by Prof. Christian Fink at the Hochrum Clinic in Innsbruck.
The attacker was set to travel to Austria to visit Prof. Fink for a follow-up visit but this trip was cancelled due to recently implemented COVID-19 restrictions. Sky Sport, however, reports that Fink will now fly to Rome to visit Zaniolo — he is expected to give the youngster the green light to progress to the next phase of his rehabilitation.
