Roma are reportedly in no rush to renew Nicolo Zaniolo’s contract which is currently set to expire in 2024.
The club and player are focused on preparing the upcoming second half of the season and talks revolving around the youngster’s highly anticipated contract renewal have been put on hold for the past few weeks, with the Friedkins wanting to postpone all negotiations until the New Year.
According to Il Tempo, however, Roma’s reluctance to satisfy his demands has made Zaniolo increasingly nervous at the prospect of entering the final year of his contract.
If the situation were to remain the same after the New Year, the player could push his entourage to start looking for other options on the market.
