Roma right back Davide Zappacosta, who’s at the club on loan from Chelsea, was interviewed by Sky Sport and discussed his future as well as his recovery from a torn ACL earlier this season.
”The Premier League and Chelsea have given me so much as I got the chance to play with great champions and win two trophies,” he said.
“On a personal level, I would certainly like to stay in Rome for several reasons. The primary one is so that I can show to the fans, my teammates and the directors the player that I really am,” he said.
“I continue to train and work — I’ve sacrificed a lot so that I can be available should the league resume. I think my knee is at 90%, so I’d be available if the season were to begin again. I want to show who I really am”.
