While it has been an emergency situation in regards to Roma’s injury problems in recent days, the Giallorossi were welcomed with positive news over the last 48 hours. Davide Zappacosta, who suffered an injury during the warm-up of 1 September’s Derby clash, returned to full training and is ready to be called-up by Paulo Fonseca. The former Torino man’s return will allow Fonseca to push Alessandro Florenzi up into attack after Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Lorenzo Pellegrini have been ruled out for the next month due to injury. Zappacosta hasn’t featured for Roma since their first match of the season on 25 August against Genoa.
