Former Roma player and UEFA executive Zbigniew Boniek was asked to share his thoughts on the top managers of the year in a recent interview with Corriere dello Sport.
“If we only look at the results, then it is clear that Carlo Ancelotti is number one for this year,” Boniek told the Italian newspaper.
“Mourinho’s names is always up there due to his fame, charisma and media appeal,” he continued. “Especially now, after winning the Conference League with Roma.”
“I also like Spalletti, he intrigues me. He deals with facts, a man of few words, he knows what to ask of the team. I expect him and Napoli to win the Scudetto next year.”
