Former Roma player Zbigniew Boniek shared his thoughts on the Giallorossi’s current form as they head into the season finale.

In an interview with Centro Suono Sport, the UEFA director said, “What Mourinho said last night at full-time shows how much he cares and how pissed off he is at dropping points with Milan and Monza.”

“He’s doing the impossible with this squad. We are talking about a team in full emergency,” he added.

“Mourinho likes to win and this was an extraordinary opportunity to qualify for Champions League. But there are two ways to access the Champions League: one is the league and another one is the Europa League. Because if you win the Europa League you go to the Champions League. Now we have to ask ourselves which path is more viable.”

“Mourinho’s future? If he stays, we’ll all be happy because he’s getting the most out of the team, but in my opinion, he’ll need extraordinary concentration for the match against Inter.”
