UEFA director Zbigniew Boniek is being linked with a position in Roma’s management.

The former Giallorossi player is reportedly being eyed by Roma’s board since Jose Mourinho requested a strong presence at the top management level.

According to Leggo, Ryan Friedkin – son of Roma president Dan Friedkin and current club vice-president – could focus his efforts solely on Cannes which was recently acquired by the Friedkin group.

As a result, his position could go to Zbigniew Boniek whose vast experience and reputation would be a great asset for the capital club.
