Former Roma player and UEFA executive Zbigniew Boniek was involved in a diplomatic lunch ahead of tonight’s Europa League fixture between Roma and Milan.
The Polish director was interviewed by Sky Sport upon his arrival in Milan where he will attend the match to be played at San Siro stadium at 21h00 (CEST).
“Milan are favored in this match-up,” said Boniek. “We all know how strong this team can be.”
“Roma? They have recovered since De Rossi’s arrival. I don’t know whether the club will renew his contract – what I know is that he will be a great coach.”
“Gianluca Mancini? I think the whole episode has been blown out of proportion, he could have avoided the celebration but I understand his motivations.”
