Turkish fullback Zeki Celik is gaining points in Mourinho’s estimation following the player’s recent return from injury, reports Corriere della Sera.
The ex-Lille man made his first appearance from the start versus Sassuolo since going down with an knee injury.
Celik replaced Karsdorp in Roma’s starting eleven on Wednesday’s, with the Dutchman causing Mourinho to be upset with his attitude in the aftermath of Sassuolo-Roma.
According to the Italian newspaper, Celik is likely to become the regular starter for Mourinho and will most probably feature in the main line-up on Sunday with Torino.
