After a hard fought draw at the Juventus Stadium, Roma are already looking ahead to their fourth Serie A engagement of the season with Monza scheduled for August 30th, giving Mourinho’s men only two days of training to prepare.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Special One is expected to implement a few changes to the starting line-up. The Portuguese technician is likely to field Zeki Celik and Nicola Zalewski from the start.
Both players came on in the second half of Juventus-Roma and gave convincing performances. The two fullbacks will replace Rick Karsdorp and Leonardo Spinazzola who, on the other hand, looked fatigued against Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
Nemanja Matic’s presence from the start remains doubtful as the Serbian midfielder left Juventus Stadium with cramps. El Shaarawy could slot in the attack allowing Lorenzo Pellegrini to take over Matic’s role in the midfield pivot.
Finally, the Italian newspaper claims that Marash Kumbulla could replace Chris Smalling in defense.
