Zeki Çelik to land in Rome next week

Roma reached an agreement with Lille for Turkish fullback Zeki Çelik in order to further strengthen the right-back flank and secure a valid alternative to Rick Karsdorp.

The initial difference between demand and offer of around €2 million was narrowed by the Giallorossi including a 15% sell-on clause, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Çelik will sign a five-year contract with the capital club worth €2 million per season.

According to the Italian newspaper, the Turkish international is expected to land in Rome next week to undergo his medical and be at Jose Mourinho’s disposal for preseason training.
