Good news for Jose Mourinho who once again was forced to deal with an unforseen surprise in the form of Roger Ibanez’s last minute white flag due to stomach issues that prevented the young centreback from being able to start in last night’s win over Helsinki.
As reported by Il Tempo, Ibanez is expected to make full recovery before Roma’s upcoming away trip to Verona.
Moreover, the Italian newspaper reports that Zeki Celik will return at Mourinho’s disposal after suffering a knee injury at the start of the month. The Turkish international is unlikely to start, but could come on in the second half in order to get some minutes into his legs before the break.
