Roma fullback Zeki Celik has been linked with a premature exit from the Italian capital.

After failing to obtain significant playing time in his second season with the Giallorossi, Celik was listed among the players who could leave Roma in this transfer window.

Over recent weeks, Celik was approached by Galatasaray who had expressed interest in him already last summer.

However, Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport reports that Celik remains unconvinced by the prospect of leaving Roma on loan – which is the formula Galatasaray would like to sign him with.

Moreover, Celik is not keen on returning to Turkey and favors other destinations in Europe.
