Zeki Celik is bound to remain in the Italian capital as his move to Marseille seems to have collapsed in recent hours.
The Turkish fullback was reportedly close to a loan transfer to France with an option to buy at the end of the season.
However, Filippo Biafora of il Tempo reports that Marseille have been unable to offload Jonathan Clauss and therefore cannot welcome Celik from Roma.
In the meantime, Galatasaray – who were interested in Celik earlier in the month – have secured a deal for ex-Spurs fullback Serge Aurier.
As a result, Celik is likely to stay at Roma for the remainder of the season.
