The atmosphere in Istanbul will be heated.
It won’t be an easy trip for Roma, but Gian Piero Gasperini’s team seems ready to face Fenerbahce among their fans, coming off a 2-1 defeat to Besiktas. A goal from Vlahovic proved decisive.
Roma fans will be able to follow their team away, unlike what is currently happening in Italy: both the match in Lecce and the upcoming one in Turin are prohibited for residents of Rome.
Roma fans are ready to make their voices heard in Istanbul. According to Il Messaggero, approximately 2,300 Roma fans will be following the team away from home. Gasperini’s players will be able to once again feel the warmth of their fans even away from the Stadio Olimpico, a habit that is slowly disappearing due to the numerous restrictions.
In Turin, the CASMS has banned ticket sales to Rome residents due to potential contact with fans from Parma who will be traveling to Como. Only fans who are not residents of the capital and who have an AS Roma Card will be able to purchase tickets.
