Genoa will be without Djibril Sow for the match against Roma on October 17th.
The Swiss midfielder sustained an injury during the international break and will not be available to De Rossi for the match at the Olimpico.
Tests he underwent in the last few hours have revealed a strained hamstring muscle in his left thigh, which will force him to sit out 2-4 weeks.
Sow’s injury dates back to Switzerland’s Nations League match against North Macedonia on October 6th, when he left the pitch at halftime, alarming both the Swiss and Genoa coaching staff.
The midfielder therefore faces a long spell on the sidelines, missing not only the Roma game but also the matches against Fiorentina and Venezia.
