Reports from Spain deny any kind of links between Real Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini and Roma.

Following Roma’s denial of this morning’s rumors of an alleged meeting between Manuel Pellegrini and club representatives, Mundo Deportivo corroborates Roma’s version of events.

In light of Il Messaggero’s article, the Spanish news outlet informs that Roma did not hold any meetings with Pellegrini who happened to be visiting the Italian capital purely as a tourist on his own personal time.

The Chilean manager travelled to Italy for pleasure as the last matchday of LaLiga was postponed in light of the Copa Del Rey final between Athletic Club and Mallorca.

Furthermore, the news outlet writes that Pellegrini has a contract until 2026 with Real Betis and a release clause worth €8 million.
