Roma are not pursuing Manuel Pellegrini as their next head coach.

Earlier today, Il Messaggero reported that Roma owners, Dan and Ryan Friedkin, had held a meeting with Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini.

The article claimed Pellegrini had first attended the Derby della Capitale at the Stadio Olimpico before going to dinner with the Friedkins and discussing future plans that could involve his signing with the capital club.

However, this rumor was quickly dismissed by Roma.

As reported by ReteSport, Roma strongly denies the presence of Manuel Pellegrini at the Olimpico for the Derby resulting in an alleged dinner meeting with the Giallorossi executives.
