Wesley continues to attract attention from abroad.
According to Turkish media reports, scouts from Arsenal and Atlético Madrid were present at the Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium last night to closely observe the Brazilian winger during the Fenerbahçe-Roma match.
The conditional is still necessary given the source of the rumor. Wesley’s performance in Istanbul, however, wasn’t among his most convincing, but the Brazilian has reportedly been targeted by two major Premier League and La Liga clubs.
The same reports from Turkey claim that Arsenal and Atlético Madrid could try to make moves as early as the next winter transfer window to assess the potential profit margins.
Roma, however, is reportedly unwilling to cut corners. Their asking price for Wesley is said to be no less than €60 million, especially given his recent refusal to offer to Chelsea.
