Roma return to action Thursday evening as they face a critical Europa League showdown in Finland's capital versus HJK Helsinki.
With only two group matches remaining, Jose Mourinho's men find themselves in a must-win situation should they hope to advance to the knockout phase of the competition.
Sitting third in Group C, the Giallorossi are currently on 4 points, three behind second placed Ludogorets, who face Real Betis tomorrow evening at home.
Though, it remains to be seen how motivated the hosts will be tomorrow evening. Helsinki sit bottom of Group C with just 1 point and enter the clash after their 32nd league title ten days ago.
"We've played really well at home in the previous two Europa League home games," said Helsinki boss Toni Koskela.
"We controlled the games on and off the ball which gives us confidence before we face Roma tomorrow. We can fight for points when we're at our best and that's what we'll try and do tomorrow evening."
"We took a few days off after winning the Veikkausliiga and returned to training on Thursday. Unfortunately we had some guys dealing with illness such as the flu and others with cases of coronavirus, though, a some of them are back."
"Beyond that, our preparations for this game have gone according to plan and we've had good training sessions ahead of the match."
As for the Italians, manager Jose Mourinho will once again be forced to deal with a number of absences. While top scorer Paulo Dybala continues to recover from a strained quadriceps, the team will also be without midfielder Nemanja Matic.
The veteran was ruled out for the fixture due to a hamstring injury he originally sustained against Real Betis.
Meanwhile, right back Rick Karsdorp is expected to make his first start since returning from the knee injury he sustained last month.
Kick-off is scheduled for tomorrow evening at 21.00 CET.
