Shomurodov clarifies departure rumors: “I’m happy to be at Roma.”

Eldor Shomurodov was reported expressing frustration in a recent interview due to lack of playing time so far in his adventure with the Giallorossi.

However, the Uzbekistan international addressed the issue on his Instagram page claiming that the interview was badly translated from his native language into English.

Shomurodov’s wrote on his Instagram story:

“Hello everybody. I read that, based on the translation of an interview of mine, I had given the impression that I was ready to leave Roma if I didn’t get the chance to play.”

“I have never stated this. I am happy to be part of Roma and I just want to work better every day to help my teammates and the coach.”
